The misunderstood ‘DIV’

In my opinion the most misunderstood HTML element is probably the DIV. It’s perfectly okay to use it; I’ve never created a website without using it at least once, but some people use it incorrectly. I’m normally not annoyed about this at all but it recently got to the point when I thought, "hmmm, maybe I should write a blog post about the DIV to show people how sad and frustrated I am about it’s misuse…" ;)

The Beauty of CSS - An accessible navigation menu!

The key to any successful website is content (hence the phrase, “content is king”). Although it could be argued that semantic coding is equally important because anything amazing must start with a good and solid foundation which, in the case of websites, is the code! I’m not just talking about SEO. The way in which you choose to code a site has an impact on usability, accessibility and more importantly, your ego!!! ;)
